When the
revised BEd curriculum of the University
of Kerala was published,
many teachers whom I met expressed concern about the over emphasis on ICT.
The last decade has
seen tremendous changes in the way the
present generation of students learn. Some of us in the teaching profession are
fast becoming ‘obsolete’… or to
use a
descriptive term coined by neo-educationists - ‘academic fossils’!... The time has come for us to CHANGE!
