She  specially thanked,  Fr.Joseph John for  volunteering to organize the  Workshop. A lighting  of the traditional lamp followed, signifying the inauguration of the Workshop. After lighting the lamp, Dr. Meenakshy Ramachandran, member KUETEF congratulated the organizers. In his Key Note Address, Dr. C. A detailed handout   identifying the changes in the New Curriculum prepared by Dr. Praveen who served as Convenor of  the Curriculum Revision Committee for English, was circulated among the participants of the Workshop. The handout  gave the participants a bird’s eye view of the changes incorporated in the Revised Curriculum.

After Lunch Break, the participants formed two groups and had discussions  on  the  papers  prescribed for the First Semester. The participants were  directed to  approach the curriculum  from a critical perspective focussing on  problems they are likely to encounter while transacting  the curriculum.  A number of  questions  which require  clarification  were compiled.
